Blue Dart Packers and Movers Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to customers using Blue Dart Packers and Movers for packing, moving, transportation, relocation, courier, vehicle transportation and related services.

By confirming a booking or making a payment for our services, the customer acknowledges that the applicable service terms, quotation, payment requirements and insurance conditions have been understood.

01

Booking Confirmation

A booking will be treated as confirmed only after the required booking amount or applicable service payment has been received through the payment method communicated by Blue Dart Packers and Movers.

Customers should provide correct pickup location, destination, contact information, moving date, inventory details and other information required for the service.

Any change in the information provided by the customer may affect the quotation, service arrangement, transportation schedule or applicable charges.

02

Booking Cancellation

Once a booking has been confirmed and the applicable booking amount has been received, the booking amount will be treated as non-refundable, subject to any written exception specifically agreed by the company.

If a customer voluntarily cancels a confirmed booking, the booking amount will not ordinarily be refunded.

Cancellation after service planning, vehicle allocation, packing arrangements, manpower scheduling or other operational arrangements may result in additional consequences according to the applicable quotation or service agreement.

03

Insurance Policy Once Issued

If insurance has been requested and an insurance policy or insurance cover has already been issued, cancellation or modification of the insurance arrangement will be subject to the terms and conditions of the concerned insurance provider.

Once an insurance policy has been issued, the customer cannot assume that the insurance amount will automatically be refundable or cancellable.

Any refund, cancellation or claim relating to an insurance policy will be governed by the applicable insurance policy and the insurer's terms.

04

Online Payment Only

Blue Dart Packers and Movers does not accept cash payments for its services where the booking or quotation specifically requires online payment.

Applicable service payments are required to be made through the online payment method or bank account details officially communicated by the company.

Customers should retain payment receipts, transaction references, screenshots and other payment records for their records.

05

Payment Verification

Customers should verify the beneficiary details before making any online payment.

A payment should be made only to the bank account, payment gateway or payment method officially communicated by Blue Dart Packers and Movers.

If a customer receives different payment details from any person, message, email, social media account or third party, the customer should first confirm the details with the company before making payment.

06

Payment Disputes & Bank Complaints

If a customer has a genuine concern regarding a payment or transaction, the customer should first contact Blue Dart Packers and Movers and provide the transaction reference, payment date, amount, booking details and relevant supporting documents.

Before any transaction is treated as unauthorized or disputed, the relevant payment and booking information should be verified with both the customer and the company, wherever reasonably possible.

If a customer knowingly makes a false, fraudulent or misleading payment dispute, chargeback, unauthorized-transaction allegation or bank complaint after receiving the contracted service, Blue Dart Packers and Movers reserves the right to respond through the appropriate legal, banking or dispute-resolution process.

Any action taken will be based on the transaction records, booking documents, payment records, communication history and applicable law.

07

Bank Account Freeze, Lien or Transaction Hold

If any bank, payment institution, authority or other authorized entity receives a complaint or dispute concerning a transaction involving the company, the relevant transaction should be properly verified.

Where information is available, the customer, transaction reference, payment amount, booking details and purpose of payment should be identified before the transaction is treated as unrelated, unauthorized or suspicious.

Blue Dart Packers and Movers may provide booking records, invoices, payment records, correspondence and other relevant documentation to the bank, payment provider or competent authority when legally requested.

08

Cyber Crime or Fraudulent Complaints

Customers are requested to use appropriate complaint and dispute procedures when they have a genuine concern about a transaction or service.

If any person knowingly submits false information, creates a fraudulent payment dispute, attempts to unlawfully interfere with company banking operations or misuses a complaint mechanism, the company may provide relevant records to the appropriate bank, payment provider, cyber-crime authority, police or other competent authority.

Any legal action will be taken only where the company considers it appropriate and where supported by available records and applicable law.

09

Damage Claims

Customers should inspect their goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and report any visible damage or shortage through the company's designated communication channel.

A damage complaint should include photographs, videos, inventory information, delivery documents and other evidence reasonably required to assess the claim.

A genuine damage claim should be handled through the applicable company claim process and, where insurance is available, according to the terms of the relevant insurance policy.

A damage claim should not automatically be treated as a payment fraud, unauthorized transaction or banking dispute.

10

Insurance and Liability

Customers who want insurance protection for their goods should request insurance before the shipment is transported and should confirm the applicable insurance terms.

Where insurance has not been purchased or arranged, the customer's claim rights will be determined by the applicable quotation, service terms and governing law.

Blue Dart Packers and Movers does not represent that every shipment is automatically covered by insurance.

Customers should confirm in writing whether insurance has been included in their particular booking.

11

Customer Responsibility

Customers are responsible for providing accurate information regarding the goods being transported.

  • Correct inventory information
  • Correct pickup and delivery addresses
  • Correct contact details
  • Disclosure of fragile or special items
  • Disclosure of valuable or restricted items
  • Providing required documents
  • Removing prohibited or personal items where required
12

Prohibited and Restricted Items

Customers must not hand over prohibited, illegal, hazardous or restricted goods without informing the company and obtaining the required authorization.

Depending on applicable law and transportation requirements, certain chemicals, explosives, weapons, illegal substances, hazardous materials and other restricted goods may not be accepted.

The customer is responsible for disclosing relevant information about the goods before booking.

13

Quotation and Additional Charges

Quotations are prepared according to the information available at the time of enquiry.

Final charges may change if there is a material difference in the actual quantity of goods, destination, floor access, loading or unloading requirements, additional packing, waiting time, route conditions, tolls, taxes, insurance or other agreed services.

Any applicable additional charge should be communicated to the customer before it is collected, wherever reasonably possible.

14

Service Delays

Estimated pickup and delivery timelines may vary because of traffic, weather, road conditions, government restrictions, vehicle availability, route conditions, operational issues or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Customers will be informed of material changes where reasonably possible.

15

Customer Complaints

Customers with a genuine complaint should first contact Blue Dart Packers and Movers and provide complete details of the issue.

Complaints should preferably include the booking reference, customer name, service date, payment details, photographs or other relevant evidence.

The company may review the available records and communicate the appropriate resolution according to the service agreement and applicable law.

16

Electronic Records

Online payment confirmations, invoices, booking confirmations, emails, messages, photographs, digital receipts and other electronic records may be retained as business records and may be used for transaction verification or dispute resolution, subject to applicable law.

17

Communication

Customers should use the official contact details published by Blue Dart Packers and Movers for booking confirmation, payment verification, cancellation requests, complaints and service communication.

Customers should not rely solely on unofficial numbers, social media accounts or third-party payment instructions.

18

Acceptance of Terms

By making a booking or payment for a service, the customer confirms that the customer has had an opportunity to understand the applicable quotation, payment conditions, cancellation conditions, insurance arrangements and service requirements.

Customers are encouraged to clarify any question before making payment or confirming the booking.
